Clément is a French Basque American photographer. His artistic vision comes to life through his use of analog and historical photographic and printing processes such as film photography, wet plate collodion, expired polaroid peel apart films, palladium printing among others. While gravitating towards regions steeped in war and unrest, Clément's lens shines a light on these areas not just for their conflicts but for their extraordinary landscapes, rich heritage, and resilient populations. Among the areas that have captured his attention, his focus has been on Sudan, Iraq, the Kurdistan region, and the countries that it straddles.
